Biology Society Of South Australia Quiz Night

Hello Friends groups,
We are very excited to announced that our annual Quiz Night Fundraiser will be Friday 8th October in the Eclipse Room (level 4 Union House, The University of Adelaide North Terrace).
We were wondering if there was any interest from any Friends groups to gather your members, work colleagues and/or friends and book a table for the quiz night. Details are below and the poster is attached. We would love to see you there!
This is one of our favourite events of the year, not only because it is always a good time but also because it funds our 2022 Conservation Biology Grant. This year we have 14 tables available in teams of 8-10 people. Seats cost $15 per person. Please contact us at

adam.toomes@adelaide.edu.au to book a table. If you have a smaller group (2-6) let us know and we can coordinate you into a table. Please spread the word and look out for our social media promos!
Further event details are below:
- The venue (Eclipse Room lvl 4 Union House) will be open from 5:30pm for a 6pm start. The event will wrap up at approx. 10pm
- QR Codes will be displayed in the venue for COVID-sign in. We will have a physical sign-in sheet for anyone without the relevant app.
- Beer, cider, wine and soft drink are available for purchase on the night. Those wishing to renew membership for 2021 can do so at the bar. Eftpos facilities are available.
- BYO nibbles are welcome, but teams can also purchase nibble platters upon a modest donation.
- We encourage you to bring plenty of spare gold coin change to participate in bonus rounds.
- Items will be available for winners of the raffles and silent auctions.
- Gift hampers with assorted prizes are available for the top 3 teams, with a special prize for last place. Prizes can also be won by individuals in the bonus rounds.
