New features on our Website

Our website is hosted by Club Express, an internet provider specialising in providing services to community groups and clubs.
We have recently added a few new features that you might not yet be fully aware of.
New mobile phone app.
Download from your relevant App provider.
the App will be listed under "Club Express"
Once you have downloaded it, you can log in with the email address you use for your Friends of Black Hill and Morialta membership and the same password you use on the website. (Please note this is a different procedure to logging into the website as for this, you need your username and password).
The Club Express gives you a shortcut to the website and enables you to quickly register for events. It also has a facility where you can message other members.

We are yet to fully explore the "Meets" function, but where we have mobile phone data access, this might be quite useful during events to enhance our safety by being able to easily find each other.
Interests
"Interests" ties a lot of the new features of the website together.
Members can manage their "interests" whenever they are logged in. Just go to your profile (at the top right hand of the screen under the triangle drop down menu).
Depending on the level of your access to the website, you will see "interests" below "Your Website Functions" Clicking on this expands all the interests available. You can choose to follow, or not follow any or all interests.
Adding an Interest to your profile will allow you to interact with the relevant on-line forum (if there is one) and add you to the mailing list for that interest group. This means project coordinators will be able to easily email you to let you know about what is happening in that project site.
Managing your Interests will help you manage the number of emails you get from the Friends of Black Hill and Morialta and their content.
Interests also allows you to open a channel in the Mobile App to message with others in the same Interest group.
The Project Coordinator can also send notifications directly through to the Mobile App. This might be used to notify of last minute changes to events.
