You will notice that we have added a couple of Bushcare dates for the Friends of Para Wirra. (www.fobhm.org.au/events )They have approached us in the spirt of collaboration, with a view of joining in some of our events to lend a hand.

These events are run within Para Wirra, and Hayley and the team will lead the events. It’s a great opportunity for you to help them with their priorities, and see how they approach things.

As this is the first collaboration of this type between the two groups, we will review it in May/June to see if it is meeting your needs and our needs.

Meeting Location: Para Wirra Resource Centre, Para Wirra Drive, Yattalunga SA
Activity: Bushcare and weed control
Dates: 1st Thursday & 3rd Saturday of each month
Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm (morning tea break & chinwag @10:30am)
What to wear: Walking shoes, pants, long sleeves, hat, glasses (we have gloves, secateurs and dabbers)
What to bring: Water, snacks, sunscreen (we have high visibility vests, first aid kits and a defibrillator. We can also car share within the park)
