About this event
Come along to help restore our grassy woodlands slope and our red gum riparian zone.This time we will have some corporate volunteers join us and work in the area downstream of the First Falls car park.
Our target this event is to work on the garden escape Red Valerian along the creek line which is displacing our native vegetation.
Meet at the Morialta First Falls Car Park at 9:30am & wear sturdy shoes for going off track. Bring your hat, sunscreen and morning tea. We also recommend cotton long sleeves and trousers to protect your legs and arms from scratches.
If the fire warning rating is severe this event will be limited to with 100m of the Resource Centre. Any higher rating will cause the event to be automatically cancelled. Extreme heat, wet or windy weather may also cause the cancellation of this event on the day. Please check conditions/the website before coming.
