About this event
We will meet at gate 15, Moriala Conservation Park and walk into the project area.
This project is a collaboration between the Biology Society and the Friends of Black Hill and Morialta Inc.
The project area spans from above Third Falls to the rusty pipe and is bounded by Colonial Track and Fourth Creek.
The objective is to protect this riparian area from invasive weeds and to assist with the restoration of this area to a functioning ecosystem.
Bring a hat, wear sturdy shoes (for going off track) sunscreen and gardening gloves (if you have them) Wear long sleeves and trousers to protect yourself from scratches and prickles.
Bring any water and snacks you would like while you are at the event.
This month a special guest is attending to show us how to conduct butterfly surveys.
