The Southern Brown Bandicoot is a small, shy, nationally endangered mammal which loves to live in high quality heathland in Morialta Conservation park. Morialta is the only conservation park we work in which is known to still support this cute creature. There were many years without positive sightings in the park, however since targeting our works in its habitat there have been many positive sightings of healthy individuals. We are fund raising to build on the area of high quality habitat for not just this species but for a number of other threatened species which also live in this area of the park. Your support will also help protect yellow-footed antechinus, yellow-tailed black cockatoos and small woodland birds.

Significant eucalyptus trees which are 100’s of years old and provide home to thousands of creatures are stressed and dying in Black Hill Conservation park. Olive trees surrounding them are competing for water and resources causing devastating results. We are fundraising to save these trees by freeing them from the olives. It costs $100 to “Free a Tree” of olives around its base and $50 to clear 400m2 of the surrounding area of olives to remove the seed source and better protect these trees long term. Supporting this project will Free the Trees.

There are an increasing number of threats to Horsnell Gully Conservation park's Mount Lofty Ranges Chestnut-Rumped Heathwren habitat. This bird is one of 20 Australian birds likely to go extinct in the next 20 years if we do nothing to restore critical habitat areas. It is vital we act now to increase the area of habitat being managed for weeds.  We are fundraising to increase the area of Mount Lofty Ranges Chestnut-Rumped Heathwren habitat being managed by volunteers in Horsnell Gully. Support us to safeguard this species' habitat into the future.

From time to time people come to us with a donation but are not sure which project to donate to. They often say to us "Just use it where it's needed most". So this fund will be allocated to the project most in need of funds.
