Park of the month event - Olive Hill Habitat Restoration

FOBHMs first ever project site was Olive Hill! For over 35 years volunteers have been working to restore the habitat in this incredible grassy woodland. This month we will work to remove invasive weeds and restore the hill to a native grassy woodland habitat. We are removing the weeds to restore this grassy woodland which is home to a range of woodland birds and some very large Black Mallee Box trees (Eucalyptus porosa).

This event is being held as part of the Northern Lofty parks "park of the month" celebration. Come along and join us on the ground by registering for this event.

Meet at the bottom of Woodford Track (runs off Morialta Falls Road just past the entrance gate) at 9:30am and wear sturdy shoes for going off track. Bring your hat, sunscreen and something to drink. There will be cake to share!

We also recommend cotton long sleeved shirt and trousers to protect your legs and arms from scratches.

Please let us know if you are coming so we have sufficient equipment for you and we can all make sure we are COVID-Safe.
